Gala Prudent b. 1999
Gala Prudent (b. 1999) is an artist, researcher, and writer from Brooklyn, New York. Her work across photographic, sculptural, and textual materials interrogates historical and contemporary media and ephemera in the interest of proposing renewed methods of seeing, knowing, relating, and being. She graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Modern Culture and Media and Visual Art from Brown University and completed foundation and studio courses at The Cooper Union School of Art.
Prudent has exhibited works in shows around the United States and Europe.
