Mirage: Group show
Mirage is the illusion that guides and deceives, the image that shimmers at the edge of perception. It is the encounter between what is seen and what is imagined, between the world as it is and the world as it could be. It is the hardship and the challenge of life, and the strength it takes to overcome adversity.
Mirage defines deception: an oasis that does not exist, a vision too distant to reach. It is the birth and rebirth of dreams, the tribal dance that captures the mind. It is the setting of absolute desolation, and yet the caravan lines glimmer in the distance, drawn across a
horizon that is but sand dunes and heat. It poses a challenge to the viewer: will you traverse the desert?
This exhibition unfolds like a journey through the desert, a passage from dawn to dusk, from blinding clarity to nocturnal silence. Each work marks a moment along the way, tracing a landscape where light, time, and human presence constantly shift; beginning in the early hours, expanding into the heat of day, and dissolving into the deep hues of night.
Mirage brings together artists whose practices move between reality and illusion, distance and intimacy. The show reflects on how perception is shaped by displacement, memory, and desire. Mirage is both revelation and uncertainty, a space where ritual and imagination intertwine. In this terrain, the human is not merely a spectator but a traveler, finding form and truth in the very act of pursuit.
